Sweet Days in Paris

Paris, the beautiful city of love, moda and macarons, has so many beautiful places to offer. Last weekend, I spent some sweet summer days in Paris at the lovely boutique hotel de Banville. I’ve been in Paris many times before to visit Disneyland Paris, la Tour Eiffel, Le Musée du Louvre, Le Jardin des Tuileries, Les Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, L’Opera Garnier and all these beautiful Parisian heritage sites. Mais this weekend, I was in search of the Parisian moda, daily luxury and beautiful places🩵:

i. La Galerie Dior is a beautiful Dior museum with a selection of the Dior couture collections from the 1940’s New Look by Christian Dior to the newest Spring-Summer collection 2026. In a beautiful mix of themed collections, for example on the Dior bow, from Christian Dior himself to Yves Saint Laurent, Gianfranco Ferré, Maria Grazia Chiuri to Jonathan Anderson, the Dior Gallery invites you to travel through fashion history and discover Dior’s heritage of Parisian haute couture. The Dior caffé offers coffee, tea and Dior pastries and there is even a Dior restaurant at the Dior Gallery. The small boutique with beautiful Dior books and notebooks was the perfect place to find a souvenir for my home.

ii. Dior Spa Cheval Blanc Paris is a very beautiful spa at the Cheval Blanc hotel along the Seine. The Dior Spa offers luxurious treatments to soothe the senses in beautifully designed treatment rooms. The pret-a-porter treatment, for example, was a luxury treatment to pamper my feet and finish with the beautiful white nail polish Jasmin from Dior. The delicious jasmin tea and rose pastry after the treatment created a beautiful moment of luxury at the lovely Dior spa.

iii. There are so many beautiful boutiques in Paris, from the très belle first Dior boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Chanel Paris at 42 Montaigne, Louis Vuitton Maison Vendôme, les Galleries Lafayette at Haussmann Boulevard to La Samaritaine. In the shopping streets, it feels like walking inside a Vogue France fashion magazine. Sweet pastries can be found anywhere in Paris! I especially loved the delicate raspberry tarts and macarons at Ladurée, les croissants at the Parisian patisseries and the Italian macchiato and pastries at la pasticceria Cova.

iv. La Vallée Village is a lovely outdoor shopping village a little outside of Paris with beautiful luxury and premium boutiques. You may find your new favorite Choos here, a Longchamp bag, an Isabel Marant skirt or Maje outfit at a soft price. On a hot summer day in Paris, La Vallée Village is a beautiful place for a shopping day. Don’t miss the sweet rose-shaped sorbets at Amorino and le macaron pastry Ispahan with raspberry, rose and litchee at Ladurée, très délicieux!
